Type DSR-λ
The digital multiple wavelength refractometer DSR-λ consists of an electronic unit and a measuring head. The measuring of the angle of the total reflection is carried out within the range of ca. 400 – 900nm for 7 discrete wavelengths. The sapphire prism has Peltier tempering and does not need an external tempering.
Performance features:
- Automatic calculation of the ABBE-figure and the dispersion.
- Display of the intermediate value by automatically adjusting the refraction figures with a polynomial of n degree.
- Dispersion determination according to ASTM of hydrocarbon compounds, viscous materials, glasses and polymers.
Main application areas:
- Research and development (plastic lenses, contact lenses, polymer materials, optical liquids, adhesives,...)
- Quality control (considering several material characteristics in a measurement)
- Product identification (finger print)
