In living material the contrast between the various structures is very low- Therefore it is very important to apply optical contrast methods such as the phase contrast method.

A powerful 12 V/30 W halogen lamp, which is continuousy adjustabe, for homogeneously illuminated object fields with sufficient resources in brightness is available for critical cases in transmitted light. A powerful 100 W HBO lamp is available for incident light fluorescence. All filter blocks for routine work can be supplied.
