All power supplies in this series are suitable for controlled separation of complex proteins using gel electrophoresis. They generate constant current and high voltage. Operating parameters can be stored in the devices, so that they can be stored when needed. 9 programs containing 9 steps each can be stored. You can switch from one program to the next without interruption, allowing you to create a series of combinations for use in a wide variety of applications. A timer and full hour meter are standard equipment on all units. After a pre-set time has elapsed, the microcomputer emits an acoustic signal. To prevent electrical shock, high voltage is not immediately present at the outputs. Instead, the voltage increases gradually. In case of power supply fault, the current is automatically shut off. The devices have full overvoltage protection. All values are continually shown on a display. With the RS232 interface (except for device 857800222) it is possible to control and monitor all the units via a PC (optional software available).
