26 PC magnetic stirrer system
The M26 magnetic stirrer is a compact, completely integrated magnetic stirring system that continuously monitors itself. The device is controlled and monitored by a powerful microprocessor with PID fuzzy logic. This provides maximum precision and safety, while making the device very easy to use.
Nominal and actual values as well as the operating instructions are shown as plain text on a 2-line, background lit, a-numeric LCD display. The controls are located under an acid-proof, membrane keyboard.
The infinitely rotatable encoding wheel on the left is used to quickly set the various temperatures as well as the internal timer. Unintentional adjustment of the present settings is prevented by an electronic lock-out mechanism. As with all magnetic stirrers, there is a separate control knob on the right for quickly changing the speed of the motor.

The following safety circuits/functions are integrated into the M26:

• Alarm for glass breakage/"sensor not in liquid"
• Short circuit/temperature sensor breakage check
• Automatic switch-off when internal housing temperature reaches 95°C
• "Watchdog circuit" microprocessor
• Safety temperature adjustable from room temperature to 300°C
• Monitoring via two independent Pt 100 sensors; switch-off temperature adjustable from room temperature to 300°C
• Heating plate temperature limited to 360°C
• Programmable temperature slopes
• RS232
• Programmable timer
