The rotary vane pumps of the P-Z series from ILMVAC are ideally suited for use in the laboratory.
Advantages of the ILMVAC rotary vane pumps for the users:
- high water vapor tolerance
- compact, light-weight construction
- low noise emission
- high reliabilty
- no oil contamination of the chamber by migration or suck-back
- high pumping speed
- free of non-ferrous metals
- low, ultimate pressures are reached quickly
- direct drive with elastic coupling
- robust, functional construction
- long service intervals
- low energy consumption
- easy reassembly when servicing
- permanent operation possible
- simply attach and switch on
Ranges of application:
- vacuum drying
- distillation
- spectral analysis
- freeze drying
- vacuum concentration
- and everywhere else a vacuum is required

LABOVAC oils for rotary vane pumps are subject to continuous and careful quality control. Various oil specifications are needed to cover the range of vacuum applications. ILMVAC therefore offers five types of LABOVAC oil for optimum coverage of the entire spectrum.
LABOVAC-10: For all standard applications. Very low vapor pressure (< 10-5 mbar). Low oil re-diffusion.
LABOVAC-11: Synthetic oil for high working temperatures, e.g. for the continuous pumping down of large amounts of gas at high intake pressures.
LABOVAC-12S: The oil with the lowest ultimate vacuum and backstreaming. Mineral based. Refined by an extensive molecular distillation process to remove all low boiling fractions.
LABOVAC-13: Perfluor-Polyether oil (PFPE) with medium values of vapor pressure and attainable ultimate partial pressure. Ideal for evacuating plants and tanks with oxygen and ozone as well as for etching processes in the semiconductor industry and miciromechanics.
LABOVAC-14: Synthetic oil with low vapor pressure, high chemical stability and good demulsibility. This makes the oil particularly well suited for distillation, drying and freeze-drying processes.
