Pipette and Filter Tips BIO-CERT®, BRAND

BIO-CERT® pipette and filter tips are sterile, free from DNA, RNase, ATP and endotoxins. Sterilization is carried out with β radiation and complies with ISO 11 137 and the AAMI guidelines. A SAL of 10-6 is obtained. The sterility corresponds to the requirements of the Ph. Eur. and USP 29. The endotoxin concentrations is below 0.01 EU/ml. Quality control is made at an independent, accredited test laboratory. A batch-related certificate will be provided.

Filter tips are especially suited for working with PCR* techniques, and fully meet the requirements for microbiology and radioisotope work. The integrated hydrophobic polyethylenefilter serves as a barrier against aerosols formed during pipetting. Filter tips protect the pipette shafts from contamination, and thus lessen the risk of cross-contamination and faulty measuring results. PLASTIBRAND® filter tips are produced from colorless granules under the most stringent cleanroom conditions and are automatically racked. They are autoclavable at 121 °C (2 bar), acc. DIN EN 285.

Filter tips, non-sterile, autoclavable

Autoclavable PLASTIBRAND® non self-sealing filter tips reduce the risk of contamination caused by dirty pipette shafts. The integrated hydrophobic PE-filter serves as a barrier against aerosols formed during pipetting. Filter tips are made from dye-free resins and do not contain sealing additives. Non self-sealing polyethylene filter allow sample retrieval should over-pipetting occur. Autoclavable at 121 °C (2 bar), acc. DIN EN 285.
