The quality of purchased products, applied means of production and experienced logistics is a mandatory prerequisite for your own quality
Hirschmann Laborgeräte assures quality on several levels
- As a standard and without any additional charge all conformity certification products are equipped with a "Dated Lot Number" that unmistakably identifies the produciton lot (first printed letter of the alphabet) and the production year.
- All devices for volume measurement of the class A/AS according to DIN are carefully monitored during production and subject to a final quality control. Each device is labeled with a sign for conformity certification, which states that all conformity requirements have been met.
- The company itself and especially the production department are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 : 2000

Lot quality certificate
The certificate shows the actual mean value of the tested production lot, the standard deviation and the tolerance range permitted by law. All instruments of one production lot as well as the quality assurance certificate have the same lot number. You will always be on the safe side: You can print out free of charge at any time the batch certificate corresponding to any Hirschmann volumetric glassware instrument - currently supplied or already in use at www.hirschmannlab.com. You will always be on the safe side.
Individual quality certificate
The certificate shows the actual measured value of an instrument, the nominal volume and the tolerance range permitted by law. The instrument and the certificate have identical, individual serial numbers. Just order the normal instrument and the certificate under separate ref.-no.
USP individual certificate
Meter and individual certificate have an individual device number. The device has the following specifications: the nominal volume, the required tolerance according to USP, the actual measured value of this device as well as the measurement inaccuracy
DKD Calibration Certificate (DKD= Deutscher Kalibrierdienst)
Quality assurance is one of the prime issues at Hirschmann Laborgeräte and hence led to the accreditation by the "Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt" (PTB equivalent to the National Institute of Standards and Technology) as accredited "Calibration Laboratory". Hirschmann has the right to issue internationally recognized calibration certificates for volumetric measuring instruments. Therefore the tested quality of each product is not only documented but the certification represents the rigorous testing procedures as well as the excellence of the quality management systems.
The DKD calibration certificate includes all measured values and measuring un-certainty of the tested device based on international norms.
