General features:
Outer panels of galvanized sheet steel, white powder coated. Interior of impact-resistant plastic with moulded-in shelf guides (build-in models), coated aluminum with rails for height-adjustable positioning of the interior equipment (stand-alone models of 260 liters and up). Insulation made of high-grade, environment-friendly material. Lockable door with reversible hinge. Temperature control by room thermostat or by electronic, microprocessor-controlled temperature and defrosting controller with alarm (with optical and sound signal, interface RS-485, isolated contact for alarm transmission). The provided circulation cooling minimizes the temperature gradient attributable to physical reasons.
The laboratory refrigerators and freezers have an explosion-proof interior and are TÜV tested pursuant to directive 94/9/EC (ATEX 95), as evidenced by the certificate of TÜV SÜD Product Service. The refrigerators and freezers are classified as Ex II 3 G T6 or Ex II 3 G Ex cic IIB T6, depending on the model. In explosion-proof refrigerators and freezers, special protection is provided for the temperature sensors of the models with electronic control as well as the circulation fans, if applicable.
