Covered heater at the bottom permits operation with a minimum of liquid. Water baths with timer are serving for tempering of liquids in mugs, glasses and pistons. Safety-class 1 allows unattended operation with non-flammable liquids. Bath and cover plate are made of stainless-steel, the body is made of steel sheet, powder coated. Bath MWB 2 is coming with a round opening of 130 mm and a cover. The water baths MWB 5, MWB 10, MWB 20, MWB 40, MWB 80 and MSB 20 are delivered with inclined cover.
Features: Micro-processor-controlled PID-regulator, three programmable fixed temperatures adjustable lower and upper set point limit, key locking, visual and/or acoustic limit-value alarm, alarm function can be switched off, temperature setting in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Integrated dry-going protection, drain with seal screw or drain cock at the bottom. Operation temperature: ambient up to 100°C, ± 0,2 K. Temperature setting and display: digital in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Shaking water baths (see MSB) are coming with 2 different baskets for test tube racks and Erlenmeyer flasks. Shaking frequency is adjustable variable from 20 to 200 moves per min, shaking amplitude 16 mm.
